From 3/9 to 9/16 the Louis Vuitton / Marc Jacobs exhibition is held by the Musee Les Arts Decoratifs in Paris, France. The accompanying book "Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs" presents the story of two personalities: Louis Vuitton, founder of the house in 1854, and Marc Jacobs, its artistic director since 1997. The limited edition is sold at Louis Vuitton stores and on louisvuitton.com for 100$ or 80€. The standard edition is sold in book stores for 75$ or 55€.

On 3/7 Apple announced the new iPad, which is available starting at 500$ for the 16GB version on 3/16. Technical specs: Retina display with 2048*1536 pixels (264 dpi), dual core CPU, quad core GPU, LTE (+130$) and 5 Megapixel rear camera. Update: AT&T 4G model supports LTE (700, 2100 MHz), while the Verizon model support LTE only at 700MHz (and CDMA), so no use of LTE in Europe on 800, 1800 and 2600 MHz frequencies. BTW: only the 4G models include GPS, too.

From 3/3 to 3/11 the annual WIKAM 2012, the Vienna international arts and antiques fair, takes place at the Künstlerhaus in Vienna, Austria.
On 3/3 7.30pm the premiere of Michael Heltau´s new program Es ist immer jetzt with chansons from Weill, Brecht, Benatzky and Lehár to Brel and Aznavour takes place at the Burgtheater in Vienna, Austria. Next concerts March 30th and April 5th and 28th. If you happen to be near Vienna: don´t miss it! Update: if you are not near Vienna: make a trip to Vienna just for one these concerts! Some songs sent shivers down my spice. As good as the legendary concert at the Ronnacher in 1995, which was made into a live CD recording (and which I was happy to attend, too!) Update 2: standing ovations at the premiere and four da capos: Lanner, I am what I am, Vorbei and Sag beim Abschied leise Servus. Heltau at his best!
The Original Sacher-Torte is sold online, too, in four different sizes. Cost is between 20 and 41 Euros. Delicious!
