On 3/7 Apple announced the new iPad, which is available starting at 500$ for the 16GB version on 3/16. Technical specs: Retina display with 2048*1536 pixels (264 dpi), dual core CPU, quad core GPU, LTE (+130$) and 5 Megapixel rear camera. Update: AT&T 4G model supports LTE (700, 2100 MHz), while the Verizon model support LTE only at 700MHz (and CDMA), so no use of LTE in Europe on 800, 1800 and 2600 MHz frequencies. BTW: only the 4G models include GPS, too.

Next concerts March 30th and April 5th and 28th. If you happen to be near Vienna: don´t miss it! Update: if you are not near Vienna: make a trip to Vienna just for one these concerts! Some songs sent shivers down my spice. As good as the legendary concert at the Ronnacher in 1995, which was made into a live CD recording (and which I was happy to attend, too!) Update 2: standing ovations at the premiere and four da capos: Lanner, I am what I am, Vorbei and Sag beim Abschied leise Servus. Heltau at his best!
