Apple introduced the new MacBook airs with Thunderbolt port, backlit keyboard, Intel HD graphics 3000 GPU, 1.6GHz i5 to 1.8GHz i7 CPUs and Bluetooth 4.0. Finally with a 256GB SSD BTO option for the 11 inch model (for 300$), but still no 8GB RAM, no Kensington security slot, no Infrared and still no 3G/4G WAN connectivity built in. Update: SSD seems to be soldered on the motherboard, so no more upgrades of the SSD as on the previous generation. Update 2: SSD is NOT soldered to the motherboard and is definitively replaceable as on the previous version. Great!
