Apple MacBook air 11 with 256GB SSD
Apple introduced the new MacBook airs with Thunderbolt port, backlit keyboard, Intel HD graphics 3000 GPU, 1.6GHz i5 to 1.8GHz i7 CPUs and Bluetooth 4.0. Finally with a 256GB SSD BTO option for the 11 inch model (for 300$), but still no 8GB RAM, no Kensington security slot, no Infrared and still no 3G/4G WAN connectivity built in. Update: SSD seems to be soldered on the motherboard, so no more upgrades of the SSD as on the previous generation. Update 2: SSD is NOT soldered to the motherboard and is definitively replaceable as on the previous version. Great!

Hi Teddy, Do you have a picture of the 256G SSD, or know someone who does? I'm trying to figure out if the formfit has changed from the gold finger style they used for the Samsung 128G SSD.
Thank you,
Trish
I will try to find a picture of the 256GB SSD. BTW: did you take a look at http://www.ifixit.com
You might find the right pictures there.
