car2go started in Vienna, Austria. You only need a membercard for 10 Euros to start. Then you either look on a website (or via smart phone app) where the next car2go is located, or you just grab one, that happens to be parked where you are. Then you just pay 29 cents per minute including gas and the parking fees for the inner districts of Vienna, where you normally have the pay for a "Kurzparkschein". If you park the car and want to keep it, you pay 9 cents per minute. The only restriction: you have to finish your rental anywhere within the "car2go" marked area in Vienna, which is currently around 80 square kilometers.

The 300$ version supports up to nine client connections and if these clients are e.g. iPads, it costs nearly the same to buy a new iPad with the iOS FileMaker client, compared to just buying a client license for MacOSX or Windows. Attention: while FileMaker 5 and 6 had the same file format, and FileMaker 7 to 11 shared a common file format, FileMaker 12 introduces a new file format, too.
