best of Macworld expo

TileStack.jpg
As last year, this was one of the highlights I saw at Macworld expo in San Francisco: TileStack allows you to upload your Hypercard stacks to their webserver, from where you can access it via any modern web browser. Soon they will have local Hypercard players for iPhone and Android, so you can use your stacks on your phone without an internet connection.

lamest keynote ever

lamest keynote ever
Apple announced the new MacBook Pro 17 with unibody design, Mini DisplayPort, 4GB RAM (expandable to 8GB), 320GB hard drive and glossy WUXGA display, that should be shipping within a few weeks. Optional matte display costs 50$ more, a 256GB SSD 900$. No FireWire 400 port anymore, no standard DVI port and no internal 3G modem port.
Amazing: some people even paid a lot of money for passes, that get you keynote access.
P.S.: no announcement of a new Mac mini, no iMac, no new displays and no iPhone nano announcement :-(
