Nokia Medallion I RX3

Nokia Medallion I RX3

Nokias Medallions seem to be available now, at least in Europe. Especially the Nokia Medallion I RX3 seems to be really stylish. You need a device with IRda capabilities to load pictures onto device (sorry Nokia 6630 users!) and I guess it recharges its internal battery via a standard Nokia charger. Test unit is on the way, so more details soon...

Is this just a necklace that displays pictures? Seems utterly pointless to me. Now if it vibrated or changed colors when near WiFi...

Normally a necklace not even displays pictures, so I guess normal necklaces are even more pointless to you ;-) But I am with you that some added funtionality like alert of an incoming phone call on a phone hidden deep in a pocket would be a great feature!

I send them directly from the Treo to a special email address at my flickr.com account, that automatically posts the picture to my blogger.com account. Works great!
