Apple announces new hardware :-(

On 10/30 Apple announced a new MacBook Air with Retina display (2560*1600) and 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports (starting at 1200$) and finally after 6 (six!) years a new Mac mini starting at 800$ with an optional 10Gbit Ethernet for another 100$. The Mac mini seems to have RAM slots, but NO M.2 SSD slot, which means the SSD is NOT upgradeable and prices at Apple for 2TB SSD are nearly 2000$! Update: the new mini seems to be nearly quiet: 4 dBA at idle. Note to self: test ASAP!
