Sony Xperia ZX Premium with real 4k screen disabled

Sony sells the Xperia ZX Premium with a real 4k screen, but reduces the resolution to fullHD for everything but viewing pictures in the Album app and videos in the Video app. So normally no 4k resolution in PDFs, web sites or in maps :-(
