mipdoc Cannes

From 4/1 to 4/2 the annual mipdoc, the leading factual co-production, screenings and coference event, takes place at the JW Marriott hotel in Cannes, France. Update: first I was not sure about the move from the Martinez hotel to the JW Marriott, but as it is much nearer to the Palais des Festivals I like the new venue a lot. Especially on Saturday evening, when the big parties at mipdoc and mipformats happen at nearly the same time! I especially liked the story about Paul Hollywood (what a name!), a baker, who is now into cars big time! Amazing stuff to see there.
