Talismann by Nestroy at Akademietheater Vienna

On 3/2 the premiere of Der Talismann by Johann Nestroy with Johannes Krisch and Kirsten Dene takes place at the Akademietheater in Vienna, Austria. Additional venues on March 9th, 11th, 13th, 21st and April 5th, 6th, 13th and 25th. Update: as Johannes Krisch had an accident while being on stage in Berlin shortly after the premiere of Talisman, now Markus Meyer is playing the Titus Feuerfuchs part. Update2: they tried to turn a timeless classic into a contemporary play and I think they succeeded. This Talisman production is also a good opportunity to listn to German born actors trying to speak the Viennese idiom.
