On 5/12 Apple made the Mac OS X 10.5.7 Combo Update for McOSX 10.5 Leopard available for download. Compared to MacOSX 10.5.6 you can use the DFU mode to connect to an iPhone to jailbreak it without using an USB hub or patching the system.
