FileMaker Bento

FileMaker Bento
FileMaker introduced Bento, which they call a personal database. In reality it is nothing more than a nice graphical front end to the built in AddressBook and iCal databases on MacOSX 10.5 with optional fields that stay invisible to AB and iCal. Compared to AB it has nice import capabilities, but the export currently allows only CSV right now.

In addition to extending Address Book and iCal Bento also allows you to create your own custom libraries (you can consider these "databases"). Either use the 20 or so work, home, and school templates included with Bento (class schedule, sales records, inventory, events...), or you can create your own from scratch.

You can also drag a spreadsheet on top of Bento and it will import the information and create a new library (it is really just doing a CSV import).
