Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere with UVC support
The new Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere, the one with official Vista support, supports UVC, so you can use it directly with MacOSX 10.4.9 as a standard camera, e.g. in iChat. Unfortunately I didn´t find software for MacOSX yet to use the pan and tilt functions.

Have just bought a Logitech Fusion which they say for Windows only , but it works brilliant on my Mac Mini OS X 10.4.9 with Skype
Did you ever find a way to control the pan/tilt of the Orbit AF? I just got one myself and have a similar problem.
I didn´t find a way to control the pan/tilt of the new UVC compatible QuickCam Orbit/Sphere, but using macam I am able to control the pan/tilt of the old QuickCam Orbit/Sphere, that normally can only be controlled with the (very old) Logitech software. For displaying the camera feed I can use Video Viewer, too.
