Apple announces MacBook Pro 17 inch

Apple today announced the MacBook Pro 17". It shares nearly all the specs of the 15" version. I features a third USB2 port, a Firewire 800 port, a double layer 8 times speed SuperDrive and the same vertical screen resolution as the G4 based 17" PowerBook.
