Nikon D200 with GPS interface

Nikon D200 with GPS interface The Nikon D200 is a digital SLR that can communicate with a GPS receiver to insert location information into the EXIF meta data on digital pictures. I guess in the near future all digital cameras will record location data automatically like this one.

I used AyAy Sir Ti-GPS unit from http://www.ayay-sir.com/. I have described my solution at http://my-equipments.blogspot.com/2007/08/gps-tagging-with-nikon-d200.html.

The photos can be seen at http://picasaweb.google.com/mbhangui/NikonGPS

I finally posted instructions on how to make a GPS for the D200 that is self-enclosed, sits on the flash mount and is powered by the camera. For details, see my blog at http://www.rickwargo.com/2008/02/24/nikon-d200-gps-version-2/.
