20 Reasons the Mac mini will fail and doom Apple...

There is a great article on LowEndMac with 20 reasons the Mac mini will fail and doom Apple ;-) Just a short quote from reason #16: Minorities and the politically correct crowd will refuse to buy one until Apple offers the Mac mini in black, yellow, red, and brown. These people have also been avoiding the snow iMacs, ice iBooks, white iPods, and other white Apple products for years.

Hello,
Was wondering what you use to combine your telephone and your Mac? My old PowerMac 6500 had a voice/fax modem but new Mac's don't have them! Saw something
recently for about $200 that let you link Mac's to phone lines, but I'm from the UK and it probably
wouldn't work. Any ideas?

I use the Phlink from http://ovolab.com. Works as a callerID device, answering machine and even as a fax/voice switch, so fax calls are automatically routed to the internal fax modem on my Mac.
The answering and fax part should work all over the world on POTS lines, for callerID I am not so sure. I definitively know, that Austria uses the same callerID standard as the US, so no problem here.
Years ago I wasn´t sure about callerID so I just bougth a cheap (10$) callerID device in the US and tried it in my country. As it worked without problems, I knew I could buy any expensive callerID device from the US without problems.

I guess at http://ovolab.com, they should know about international compatibility, as they are not US based, but from Italy...
